Male'

             Male'

(I am going to tell you about Male' from my personal experiences.)

Male' is the densely populated capital of Maldives. It is known for its colourful mosques, monuments and buildings. The island is 1.7 km long and 1.0 km wide with more than 100,000 people crammed in it. Once you reach Male’ you will be greeted by a giant flag located in the Republic Square proudly displaying the national colours of the Maldives. This square has a small park where locals and visitors hang-out. The Republic Square is found close to the north shore of Male’.

Right next to the Republic Square you will find the Headquarters of the Maldivian National Defence Force and Maldivian Police Service. The Islami
c Centre is also found next to the square.

The famous architectural landmark in Male' is the three-storey Islamic Centre. The Centre's Grand Friday Mosque, Masjid-al-Sultan Muhammad Thakurufaanu-al-Azam is the largest mosque which can accommodate 5000 worshippers. The oldest mosque in the Maldives is the Male' Friday Mosque or the Male' Hukuru Miskiy.

The Islamic Centre
When it comes for shopping so I can say its not an ideal place for shopping as nothing is been produced here except the freshly caught fishes by local fisherman that's the only basic occupation of people over here "FISHING", and all basic and  required stuff have been imported from all around the world, wondrous for those never visited India can, of course, get to eat eggs and potatoes from India, isn't that funny!! we never been to Australia or Germany but proud to say that we drink milk  products from  Australia and Germany, seriously you can get to taste food  from around the globe sitting at one place and can feel like horizon in your hand and I love that ...

Well, if you visit Male so straight away pop in to STO a center where you will get all basic eatable under one roof and at best price. Never compare prices from your homeland, other wise you will sleep hungry as of course everything is expensive here compare to your home country and YES never forget to check expire date as usually things are either short expire or already expired stuffs piled on shelf.SO BE AWARE!!!

Male is usually a place of transit for people landing in,  its a transit point from where people being received by boats and ferries from their respective home island and resorts.

Though Male' is an ideal place to see as it has a lot of monuments, parks and much more.

Let me mention few attraction near to Male not bad to spend a good day out,

nearest place to visit for a day trip is VILIGILI (BY FERRY)
another good place to have a Metro bus tour though its a purely  residential place is HULUMALE.

However,Maldives is INDEED a good place to rome around with your beloved family and friends and you can enjoy its every bits or corner with a zeal as all four  side you will get to see another breath taking view no matter its RESIDENTIAL OR PICNIC SPOT.

Donot forget to grab each moment in DSLR as you never know when next you will get  chance to be here, I believe in capturing every step in my cam that can make me remind how beautiful life God have had blessed me,and never forget to keep praising GOD'S GLORY each time you see its Amazingly Created world,NATURE is a living proof  to say HOW Generous my Lord is and how Ungrateful his created Mankind's are.

Anyways..Writing about Almighty's unlimited blessing give me immense pleasure and that make praise him every now and then for every blessing's he has bestows me with.

See you soon, with more thoughts to praise lord's world,
Till then take a very good care of people around  you,
love them, praise them appreciate  each bounty and blessings,
we never know how long we gonna be with them.
